Airport to airport transit times usually takes 3-10 days, this depends on cargo space availability and restrictions on all carries that fly/sail to shipment destination/s. We endeavour to ship your goods on first available space/carrier so your shipment arrives at destination port as soon as possible. We rely on carrier tracking reports and if updates on the whereabouts of your shipment is unavailable, call us or email us immediately so we can check carrier booking systems platform for updates and chase this up for you.
Upon your shipment arriving at destination port, usually the airport/seaport will contact the consignee to come and collect shipment. Destination airport storage charges start 24hours after shipment arrives, for seaport storage and demuarrge charges start after 7 or 10 days depending on the port policy, So it is essential that the importer/consignee clear the cargo within the free period offered by the port.
We email all our customers full booking details which includes carrier’s name, transit times and tracking link. Transit times cannot be guaranteed, although delays are regrettable Global Load Cargo Ltd bears no responsibility for delays caused by the carrier.
